Music #8

Trinity
(dal film "Lo chiamavano Trinità...")
music by Franco Micalizzi

He's the guy who's the talk of the town
with the restless gun
don't shoot broad out to fool him around
keeps the varmints on the run, boy
keeps the varmints on the run

You may think he's a sleepy tired guy
always takes his time
sure I know you'll be changing your mind
when you've seen him use a gun, boy
when you've seen him use a gun

He's the top of the West
always cool, he's the best
he keeps alive with his colt 45

You weren't glad at your fooling him around
when you've seen him use a gun, boy
when you've seen him use a gun

He's the top of the West
always cool, he's the best
he keeps alive with his colt 45

Who's the guy who's riding into town
in the prairie sun
You weren't glad at your fooling him around
when you've seen him use a gun, boy
when you've seen him use his gun

Quotes #5

"How are you supposed to know? Fucking men like you built the hydrogen bomb. Men like you thought it up. You think you're so creative. You don't know what it's like to really create something; to create a life; to feel it growing inside you. All you know how to create is death..."

Quotes #4

"My life fades. The vision dims. All that remains are memories. I remember a time of chaos. Ruined dreams. This wasted land. But most of all, I remember The Road Warrior. The man we called "Max". To understand who he was, you have to go back to another time. When the world was powered by the black fuel. And the desert sprouted great cities of pipe and steel. Gone now, swept away. For reasons long forgotten, two mighty warrior tribes went to war and touched off a blaze which engulfed them all. Without fuel, they were nothing. They built a house of straw. The thundering machines sputtered and stopped. Their leaders talked and talked and talked. But nothing could stem the avalanche. Their world crumbled. The cities exploded. A whirlwind of looting, a firestorm of fear. Men began to feed on men. On the roads it was a white line nightmare. Only those mobile enough to scavenge, brutal enough to pillage would survive. The gangs took over the highways, ready to wage war for a tank of juice. And in this maelstrom of decay, ordinary men were battered and smashed. Men like Max. The warrior Max. In the roar of an engine, he lost everything. And became a shell of a man, a burnt out, desolate man, a man haunted by the demons of his past, a man who wandered out into the wasteland. And it was here, in this blighted place, that he learned to live again..."

Keepers Of Time
[words & music by Thomas C. Hansen]

Going back in time, long before the human kind
When there was no evil minds
Driven by a force, let the nature take its course
Only the strongest will survive

But then the man came like a virus to this world
And spread evil to the earth that gave him birth

Once there was no crime, and no greedy selfish minds
Mother earth was in control
Living by the rule, killing just for food
Keep the balance in control

But then the man came like a virus to this world
And spread evil to the earth that gave him birth

We are the keepers of time, the guardians of life
We know everything that the future will bring
Earth wind and fire is what we control
A burning desire that lives in us all, Keepers of Time

Looking back in time, through the history we find
That the humans will not learn
Make the same mistakes, as so many have before
Until this earth can take no more

But then the man came like a virus to this world
And spread evil to the earth that gave him birth

We are the keepers of time, the guardians of life
We know everything that the future will bring
Earth wind and fire is what we control
A burning desire that lives in us all, Keepers of Time

Keepers of time, the guardians of life
They know everything about the future
We will take back control, and the evil will fall
There's always a light behind the rainbow

Animation #6

These series were on air on the Bulgarian National Television many years ago, but I still rememberthem. Here they were called "Блуждаещото огънче", the original title is Willo the Wisp. It was a real delight to get some of the episodes and watch them again. In each Willo the Wisp tells a story from a wood, full of fantastic and hilarious characters. The most memorable for me is Evil Edna - a witch ... TV set! All the voices are done by Kenneth Williams and he really does a great job. All 26 episodes are released on DVD. I was surprised to find out that new 26 episodes are in production now, more than 20 years after the original series. You can find a trailer on the official Willo the Wisp web-site here:
