Music #6

Gaia Epicus is a great band I discovered some time ago while collecting Star Wars fan music on the net. They have 2 albums - "Satrap" and "Symphony of Glory". The style is melodic hard rock and power metal and I really enjoy their songs.

Star Wars

A long time ago, in a galaxy far away
The evil empire was building a force, destroying all in its way
Lord Vader, he's the man in black
Helmet of steel helps him to breathe, and with Jedi force he attack

The death star is near
But the rebels have no fear
The dark side of the force
They'll never join

Star Wars, the rebel fleet is on the way
Star Wars, they have come to save the day, Star wars

A new hope is here, and he's gonna save us all
He is so young but his force is so strong, Luke Skywalker is his name
Our freedom, he's gonna bring back
He has come to lead us into the light, it's time to stand up and fight

He flies among the stars
With the speed of light he goes
The dark side of the force
He'll never join

Yoda my master
Teach me how to fight
The evil Lord Vader
Is dying here tonight

Star Wars
We fight for freedom
We fight for glory
We fight for all

One of my "abandoned" photos.

The Web #4

Several months ago I was just wondering around the city (Plovdiv I mean), listening to some music and with the camera in my backpack. I took some photos of abandoned train cars and engines. It was quite interesting experience. Just walking alone with yourself, staring at those rusty pieces of metal... I plan to do this again when my exams are over and make more photos.

Take a look at those sites I found:

If you haven't used torrents yet it's hight time for you to start doing so. And here's a tracker full of treasures:

The Jolly Roger . org

I watched Glassy Ocean yesterday, that's the way I found out about this neat place on the net. Then I browsed through the net reading info about every single ttle on their tracker and believe me - every single one of them deserves your attention!

Animation #5

Studio 4°C

Some time ago I watched a compilation of short animated movies called "Digital Justice". I think the word that describes best the feeling after these shorts is "stunned". Yeah, I think I was just stunned. The word that can describe the movies - "unique".
I browsed through the net to find out about the makers - Studio 4°C. And I found that they are behind "Memories" and "The Animatrix". If this doesn't attract your attention I don't know what else could.

And talking about the great "Outlaws" soundtrack... here's one great website!

Games #2

LucasArts' OUTLAWS

A game with style. One of my all-time favourite 1st person shooters. I remember playin' "Outlaws" about nine years ago in a game club in the neighbourhood, I was still with my good old "Pravetz" so I couldn't play it at home.

The cut scenes are marvelous, the soundtrack is awesome. Even with this out dated 3D graphics the game still captures you, it has atmosphere!

I don't actually own this one, but I hope I'll manage to find it around and borrow it. I miss that game...

Oh, and here's how a "Pravetz" looks

Quotes #1

"If you want to be successful in a particular field of endeavor, I think perseverance is one of the key qualities. It's very important that you find something that you care about, that you have a deep passion for, because you're going to have to devote a lot of your life to it."

Queen

Princes of the Universe

Here we are, born to be kings
We're the princes of the universe
Here we belong, fighting to survive
In a world with the darkest powers
Hey!

And here we are
We're the princes of the universe
Here we belong, fighting for survival
We've come to be the rulers of your world
Oh!

I am immortal
I have inside me blood of kings (Yeah!)
I have no rival
No man can be my equal
Send me to the future of your world

Born to be kings, princes of the universe
Fighting and free, got your world in my hand
I'm here for your love and I'll make my stand
We were born to be princes of the universe
No man could understand
My power is in my own hand
Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh
People talk about you
People say you've had your day
I'm a man that will go far
Fly the moon and reach for the stars
With my sword and head held high
Got to pass the test first time, yeah
I know that people talk about me
I hear it every day
But I can prove you wrong 'cause I'm right first time

Yeah yeahAlright, let's go, let's go
Haha! Yeh...watch this man fly
Bring on the girls
Bababa!
Here we are (here we are)
Born to be kings, we're princes of the universe
Here will we belong
Born to be kings, princes of the universe
Fighting and free, got your world in my hand
I'm here for your love and I'll make my stand

We were born to be princes of the universe

There can be only one...
